Bear Care are a group of nurseries, which were originally established twenty two years ago, in Nottingham, as Nottingham Day Nurseries Limited. We have been a family orientated business for twenty two years and have grown and developed to cater for the numerous changes in the child care field. Our nurseries are not a purpose built franchise package, but are individually designed to cater for the needs of the local community, parents and most particularly the individual needs of the children.

Early Years Education Programme

We offer children time and space to explore, experiment and develop at their own pace by giving them a range of experience which promotes language development, reading, writing skills and number work
There is a well structured programme of teacher directed activities developed in accordance with the national “Early Years Foundation Stage
All children follow a curriculum which takes into account both special needs and individual differences. Our policy is that learning through play is fun. We work in partnership with parents so that they are fully informed of their child’s progress and achievements. Our nurseries focus on the 4 themes of the EYFS, these are:

• Enabling Environments
• Learning and Development
All children have individual assessment records which will be shared with parents on request or during regular Open Weeks.

Our children also enjoy the benefits of visits to the local theatres, libraries and Tots Tennis at the Tennis Centre with professional coaches.
All Bear care nurseries pride themselves on a range of stimulating recreational and educational resources. The nurseries are equipped with new PC’s and software which introduce the children to a range of interactive programs which support the Early Years Foundation Stage.
