At Bear Care we provide breakfast of toast and cereals up to 8.15am; a light mid-morning snack of juice and biscuits or fruit and a two course lunch at midday. Meals are planned for nutritional needs and we can cater for any special diet your child might require. A light tea is served around 3.15pm and our nursery day finishes at 6pm.

In our babies' nurseries we also provide all formula milk and appropriate baby food. All food is freshly prepared and tried and tested before becoming a regular item. We offer a variety of menus to develop children's taste,
Our nurseries are organized around different age groups of children. Babies (3 – 15 months); Young Toddlers (15 – 24 months); Older toddlers ( 2 – 3 years); Pre School ( 3 – 5 years).

At our nurseries in Nottingham each section has both carpeted soft play areas and vinyl covered messy play areas. The rooms are fresh, light and stimulating for the children. Outside all of the nurseries there is plenty of space for creative play on safe, soft play areas. They are fully enclosed with no external access. At Arnold we have the additional feature of a fully equipped indoor ball pool called “Teddy’s Playland” and at Carlton & Gedling and Stapleford we also have purpose built indoor ball pools and play areas. At Carlton & Gedling and coming soon at Thurmaston, we have covered canopies outside so that children can be involved in a wide range of play activities whatever the weather.
