Bear Care are a group of nurseries, which were originally established twenty two years ago, in Nottingham, as Nottingham Day Nurseries Limited. We have been a family orientated business for twenty two years and have grown and developed to cater for the numerous changes in the child care field. Our nurseries are not a purpose built franchise package, but are individually designed to cater for the needs of the local community, parents and most particularly the individual needs of the children.

The nurseries are organised into sections that help cater for the individual needs of the children. We have units catering for babies, young toddlers, older toddlers and pre- school children, and we try at all times to promote an inspired, creative and caring environment

We pride ourselves on making the transition for parents returning to work and children starting nursery as smooth as possible. Above all we offer young children
time and space to explore, experiment, reflect and develop at their own individual pace; physically, socially, intellectually, linguistically and emotionally.

Our main priority is for you and your child to feel happy and secure with the care that is provided.

From September 2008 these two guidelines will be merged into one all embracing programme called “The Early Years Foundation Stage.” Please do not be alarmed as the guidelines will remain almost the same, and staff are receiving training for the transition in September 2008. The transition should be very smooth and will not upset the provision for your child in any way. If you want to find out more about the Early Years Foundation Stage then visit this link.
